Weekly Learning Report: Supporting Your Child’s Growth
Starting this Fall, your child’s teacher will send you a personalized weekly learning report by email, please be sure to check it carefully. Through this report, you can stay updated on:
- Your child’s performance and engagement in class
- Completion of classwork and homework
- The teacher’s personalized feedback and learning suggestions
You can also reach out to your teacher anytime to discuss your child’s progress, and view class reports in the Student App / Parent App.
This report is not only the teacher’s feedback on classroom learning, but also a valuable record of your child’s steady progress. We hope it gives parent peace of mind in understanding child’s learning journey, while providing them with caring support every step of the way. ❤️
Meet Teacher Andrea: Supporting Your Child’s Growth

This time, we’d like to introduce Ms. Andrea Santos.
Not only is she a dedicated teacher, but also the mother of two children, which allows her to truly empathize with her students. She always patiently listens to their concerns and offers thoughtful support. After class, she devotes extra time to communicating with parents, tailoring personalized learning suggestions for each child.
In her weekly feedback, Andrea always hopes to write a little more—to capture every bit of her students’ progress. Often, she even reaches the word limit and still feels there is more to share. Through her sincere words, parents are able to see the effort and growth behind every achievement their child makes.
✨ Ms. Andrea believes that every child’s progress deserves to be seen and celebrated, and she is committed to walking alongside her students on their journey of growth.

On September 11, Think Academy hosted an online i-Ready webinar for families with students about to enter middle school. The webinar focused on the key role of the i-Ready assessment in math class placement for Grades 5–6.
Currently, G5 Core+/Honors and Pre-Algebra long-term students can participate in the assessment for free—check it out now!
Middle School Readiness: G5 & G6 Students
- About i-Ready: i-Ready is an adaptive assessment used by over 10 million students across the U.S. The report provides three key indicators: math progress, national percentile ranking, and mastery of individual knowledge modules. i-Ready is a diagnostic test, typically administered 2–3 times per year by schools.

- Score Range: The i-Ready assessment focuses on math, as acceleration options are generally only available for math in middle school.
- Think Academy Offer: G5 Core+/Honors and Pre-Algebra long-term students receive the official i-Ready assessment for free. Students outside these classes may purchase the assessment separately for $19.9.

- If Your Child Has Already Taken a Test: If your child has already completed i-Ready, MAP, or STAR assessments at school, there’s no need to retake it. You may submit the school assessment report to your teacher. Targeted practice will be provided in October–November to help students aim for the top 10% nationally.
Think Academy will continue offering resources, practice materials, and guidance to help students aim for the Top 10% nationwide and start middle school with confidence.
